Stephen was introduced to football by his father when he was 6 years old, and his love affair with the game has grown stronger and stronger over time.

From a young age Stephen was identified as a unique talent growing up in Port Macquarie and was given the opportunity to train with the Brazilian National Team when they arrived in Australia in 1999. In 2001 and 2003 he was selected to represent NNSW at the National Championship, and in 2004 he went on to play for the Newcastle United Youth Team in the old NSL.

As an avid football fan, Stephen has had an opportunity to live abroad in Chile and China and witness differing cultures, and attended both the Asian Cup Final in Australia and EURO 2016 in France.

Stephen brings with him a passion for the beautiful game along with a strong will to give back to Football for everything it has given him.
